YOU ARE COMPLETE

Scripture: We are complete in Christ who is head of all principalities and power (Col2vs10)

Our completeness is found in no else but in Christ. Our self definition and satisfaction comes from God.

Do you know waiting for someone to fill you up or complete you is working in direct contradiction to what scriptures says? As a matter of truth, a man can not satisfy another man. The place of the satisfaction of the soul is only for God.

If you keep looking and waiting for someone else to satisfy you, you will really keep looking and nothing else will happen except bundles of disappointment. The only reason we have to live with people is simply because we know God loves us and them. With this understanding, we approach life and people with love and this love helps us get over hurt and heal easily.

When we say nobody can love us like God, we mean it, this understanding will help us in our relationships with people.

CENTRAL POINT: No one else can and will ever complete you, only God will and can complete and satisfy you.

PRAYER:

Father, today I choose to see myself complete in you. I embrace all that you have blessed me with in Jesus Name.

Valuable Lessons From My Notes

Today I'd be sharing directly from my notes. The notes were written from Matthew 4 on the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness. But the Scriptures below are from Luke 4 still on the temptations of Jesus.

Jesus was confronted three times. These confrontational conversations formed the temptations.

"If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
 
If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone."

-Luke 4

What Lessons are here to learn?

1. The devil always seeks to shift the focus of the believer from His Identity in Christ to actions. He makes you believe that it is what you do that confers divine status on you, or confirms that you really are who God says you are. Many times these actions will not glorify God, rather they glorify the flesh. No matter what you do, it cannot add up to what Jesus has already accomplished for you in His death, burial and resurrection.

2. In the second temptation the devil asked Jesus to bow to him, in exchange for THINGS. The devil often seeks to make the believer concentrate on the THINGS of the world as against loving God and our fellow men. Jesus didn't fall for this. We shouldn't either. Apostle John, further buttresses this when he said "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1 John 2:15

3. The devil often seeks to make people use God's resources for the gratification of fleshy/personal desires. That's what leads some leaders to divert funds in their care to meet personal needs at the expense of the organization they lead. Jesus didn't fall for the temptation to use His position and power to command angels to meet his needs. He rather avoided the temptation and was victorious.

IN LOVE

Bible verse: Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth hath fulfilled the law.
Romans .13vs8

I had an experience two days ago, in the school where I teach. A free training is ongoing and every child is given an opportunity to learn. Being a high grade school, where you see children from rich homes, they are popularly referred to as kids who are 'tush'. It is strange to find a child who does doesn't not belong to this description in the school. But, there was a girl of about a year old, not well dressed and not looking as good as the others, I felt an irritation and it became obvious through my facial expressions - it showed. Instantly, the Holy Spirit asked me why and told me to look at the child properly and I did, then I corrected my mind and smiled at her. I realized that, my mind had decided to accommodate only 'the tush' children because that was what I was exposed to.

There is no loving without giving and giving involves sharing. You can't sincerely and in truth define love, without mentioning giving and sharing. The movie and entertainment industry has succeeded in making us beleive that love involves receiving, especially as a lady. There is, this notion that as long as a person meets certain criteria and suits our expectations, they can be loved by us.

But, today let's remember our exercise on love , where we replaced love with ur name in 1 Cor.13, with all the character of love ,which we trust that we are allowing the Holy spirit birth to manifestation in us. What criteria do we think a person or people must meet before they are allowed into our lives? And before we can share with them?

The bible says we should owe no one nothing, except love. That means that we are to pour our love to everyone that comes our way. No personal preference should interface in the place of our loving people. If we are ambassadors of Christ, which means that, we are to carry the message of Christ to everyone. Let's also know that we preach in love and not in anger to people.

We must get to the point where nothing stops us from talking to people about the love of God because that love is our lifestyle. The only criteria Christ has ever set for man is love, He loved us and died for us, while we had not even thought of His love, He gave and opened a way to Himself waiting for us to come.

As people who are hungry and thirsty for God, we must allow His work so much in us to produce the fruit of Love which allows us to Open ourselves up to people and share our resources with them with the aim of blessing God's kingdom. Your personality or whatever, should not be an hinderance to the expression of God's love through you to someone, either in the family of faith or outside the family of faith.

You can only know that God is producing the fruit of love in you when you accept and open your heart to love people without setting standards that must be met in order to satisfy your self, your flesh.

CENTRAL TRUTH: Allowing God to produce the fruit of love in us by accommodating people.

PRAYER:

Lord, I release my mind to you, do your work in me and help me to see people the way you see them.

THINK ON THIS: Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. ROM.13vs1

BE FULL OF JOY

Bible verse: Being enriched in all thing to the bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. 2Cor10vs11

Carrying a long face does not mean you are more righteous or more spiritual. Being spiritual is obeying the commandment of Jesus and not the wearing of an outward look that chases people away. As a Christian, your face should draw people to God. Your smile and disposition should be so contagious that people will want to have your kind of face and attitude.

As people who are hungry for God, we live joyfully at all times knowing that our Father is at work at everything that concerns us.
There is therefore no reason for us to wear long faces. But from our heart, we wear smiles because, OUR Father is faithful and true.

For some of us, wearing long faces might not be as a result of being worried, but our default look. That's not an excuse to let our face remain that way. The Holy spirit is not a dormant person, He's always active, He has a personality, if God was to walk on the earth as a man, trust me, He will be smiling with a beautiful disposition.

As we hunger and thirst after God, He shows forth Himself through us and in us and He is not a sad looking God, neither is He ugly. His glory radiates and it is captivating. That's why our beauty is not outward, but spreads right from our inside.

CENTRAL POINT: Let your beauty be seen through your attitude and your smile.

PRAYER:

Father help me to rediate your glory in truth and at all times.

THINK ON THIS: Rejoice in the Lord, alway: and again I say , Rejoice. Philip. 4vs4

GET IT RIGHT

Sam Adeyemi once said "The Proof of Desire is Pursuit". What you chase after in the confines of your mind and in life reveals where your Heart really is and what it is after.

The Proverbs says - As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man (Proverbs 27:19). Your life is a Reflection of your most Dominant Pursuit.

The Second Most difficult thing we would have to deal with in life, the first being Identity Crisis, is Balance in Life. We must not be like THE RICH FOOL who succeeded in 'Getting his name into the Forbes List of the Rich' and neglected God. Neither must we be like LAZARUS who died as a Saint but lived a Poor Life despite the Prosperity he had access to in God.

Today, the Charge is to Live a Life that Puts God at the Center, the center which holds all things. The Word says God upholds all things by the Word of His Power (Hebrews 1:3). Let God be the Centre of ALL your pursuits in life.

Job was a Perfect Example of this. Read the First three (3) verses of the Book of Job. It shows us something Profound. Job's stand with God was First described when the Word says 'He was Perfect and Upright and Eschewed Evil' , then the Writer proceeded to describing his Family and then his wealth. Read Job 1:1-3

This shows a Powerful Principle we must follow. Put God First and Every other thing will find Proper Alignment.

When Job lost all he didn't loose his Faith in God. That Faith RESTORED ALL he lost in DOUBLE FOLD.

Guard Your Heart. Seek For Balance. Let God be the Center.

Central Truth: A Life of Balance is Important. Let God be the Center that holds all things.

ENDURE

Bible verse:

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life , which the Lord has promised to them that love him James 1vs12.

At a time, this song 'I give myself away ' by Mali music was really making wave. I was still on campus then and no fellowship day ends with without this song being sung in almost all fellowship venues.

After singing this song on Sunday, on Monday and other days of the week,the lifestyle we see seem very contrary to the true meaning of the song. We see brethren who have 'given themselves away: still having their way and blaspheming the Church of Christ.

Giving up self of course, is not a Day's Job, it is a result of the continual workings of the Holy Spirit in us. However, we must make sure when we desire the workings of the Holy Spirit, we are truly sincere and are willing to accept who we are in Christ.

The truth is, we will continually encounter situations and people that are intentionally set on our path to bring to manifestation our ''Real Self'' in Christ.

One other thing we should always ask God for is the Patience to Learn and Mature through the Circumstances and People He has intentionally positioned in our lives. Our trial of Faith works out Patience and Patience works out Experience and experience works out hope.(Roms. 5vs 3-4).

So,  before you pray for God to take you out of a situation or remove certain people from your life, make sure you have prayed enough for patience to allow the work of God through that situation or person.

Sincerely, this is not easy, I  mean who likes to stay in the heat when you can just jump out to receive fresh air?  But sometimes, staying in the heat for the approved time is neccesary for you to appreciate the fresh air when you get out.

Let's not forget, that we are ambassadors of Christ, as an ambassador, you can't dictate your conduct, by the reason of the appointment of an ambassador, he/she assumes certain responsibilities and code of conduct. Our Father has called us and we resemble Him in all things. Let's not forget that Jesus endured the suffering of the cross, He did not jump and pass the suffering to get the glory. And God in the self same way is begetting us unto Himself.

If we are truly Thirsty for Him, then we must understand and accept that we are dead, crucified with Him and alive unto Him.

CENTRAL POINT: We are to stay patiently in order to allow the trial of our faith to achieve its full work in us.

PRAYER:

Father, help me to wait Patiently so to allow your Dealings take its full course in my life in Jesus Name.

THINK ON THIS:

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that he may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James1vs4-5.

The Only Currency You Need

Bible verse: And he said unto me, it is done. I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of life freely. Rev, 21vs6

If there is any currency that is well sought after now, it is the Dollars. Everybody wants to be in possession of the Dollars. If you really want to be involved in Real Trade, then Dollars must be involved and you will be referred to as an International Business Person (lol).

The currency of this world, can only buy as much as one can afford and its all perishes here, no  matter what we buy. Now imagine, you need a twin duplex , decorated and furnished to suit your taste, you have been searching for this house and finally it is found and you are told the amount and its far exceeds your budget and your entire savings, What Exactly Can You Do?

Now, also imagine that for the house, the only Cost you are to incure is just  YOUR DESIRE, YES YOUR THIRST. As in, you just desire this kind of house and you get. That means that your price, the price for the house is simply DESIRE.

God offers you eternity in a city built with gold and other precious stones, He offers you a life built upon the Rock, His Son, a life totally guaranteed and dependent upon His ability.

And, do you know the price?

ONLY YOUR DESIRE, Yes your desire and consistent thirst is what is required.
With this said, Wouldn't you instantly tune your heart to start desiring such houses and other Great things?

It's so Amazing to realize that God has offered something much more valuable than Dollars (Eternal Life With Him). Our part is to consistently desire to become like Son. Trading with and in God's currency, makes us an Eternal Business People.

CENTRAL POINT:  Our Desire is the only Price we Pay in order to be filled with God.

PRAYER:

Lord help me to consistently come to you hungry and thirsty.

THINK ON THIS: Ho, everyone that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; come ye, buy, and eat ; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.  Isaiah55vs1.

RUN TO THE WELL

Bible verse:
The response of the Samaritan woman Jesus met by the well is not surprising because it is very natural. Imagine someone you don't know, sitting by a well and he says he can give you water. Your natural mind will run through his personality, at least with your eyes since you don't know. Of course, you will notice he does not have anything to draw water with. So you will just conclude that he needs help, instead of offering you help.

The Samaritan woman, only took the words of Jesus serious when He began to speak to her personally. That's what happens to us, when we come to the well of life, we see ourselves clearly, our nature is X-rayed right before our eyes and some of us rather  than respond like the Samaritan woman we run away. Immediately the Samaritan woman saw herself!, saw her weakness as exposed by the word, she accepted her flaws in awe and ran to testify immediately, she accepted the water and the life Jesus offered her.  Some of us have been running away from our exposed nature. Do we go to church? YES, Do we pay our tithes and observe other religious activities? YES, but we know deep down that in truth, we are far apart from the requirements of the WORD.

Jesus told this beloved woman by the well, that the water He will give her will well up in her unto everlasting life. The water has to keep flowing consistently for it to last as long as eternity and we have to keep getting filled .

As transparent as a clean water, that's how transparent our lives are before the word. The word does not reflect our lives that much for the fun of it or to embarrass us ,rather, it is done for us to accept the dictate of the word, we must run to the well and fountain of life and accept our New Self as revealed in the Word.

Our level of receptivity to the water that flows from the well of Life, shows shows how Thirsty we are for God.

CENTRAL POINT: Running to the Word to receive instructions and our level of obedience is a show of how Thirsty we are for God.

PRAYER: Father, I ask for insight of your word and the heart to see myself with your eyes.

THINK ON THIS: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him, shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:14)

Flip over to 1 Cor 13: 4-8 (The Famous Chapter on LOVE) put your name in ALL the places where  LOVE is mentioned.

Pay attention to what happens within you. (Kindly Share your Experience with this Exercise)

Question:

What Fruits are evident in your Life? Are they Fruit of the Spirit or Works of the Flesh?

The focus for this month has been Developing a Thirst for God. Truly, as we draw near in fellowship, we would realize that we Automatically bear fruits and the works of the Flesh would die gradually as the Fruits begin to manifest.

One thing with God is that He never leaves us Hungry or Thirsty. He would satisfy us. His promise is that 'We will be Filled' (Paraphrase) . As you Desire much more of His presence, expect a Natural Exhibition of the Fruit of the Spirit.

CENTRAL TRUTH: When God truly Fills us His Nature (Fruits) Finds Full Expression in and through us.

PRAYER:

Father, help me to remain connected in you so as to bear fruits in Jesus Name.

THINK ON THIS:
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk even as He walked. 1John2vs6

How Is Your Heart?

Bible verse:

And I will pray the father. And He will give you another comforter, that he may abide with you.

John 14vs16

It is recommended medically that we have a routine checkup at regular intervals, for a sound physical health. The same thing is neccesary for us spiritually. We need to pay attention to what is going on consistently in our heart.

Kenneth E. Hagin shared a story about how he was led by the Holy Spirit to check on his heart as a new convert in his book 'how you can be led by the Spirit of God'. He said, at the time when he just got saved, he was moving with a group of teenagers about his age and he used an inappropriate language, like the 'F' word. As he said the word nobody noticed anything but immediately the Holy spirit cautioned him and he had to apologize.

Some of the things we are comfortable with , if we pay keen attention to our spirit, we will hear the Holy spirit shedding His light and asking us to desist from them. A little leaven, leaventh the whole lump. This shedding might be more personal than it is general. It might have to do with courtesy, being more respectful. For you ,it might be an attitude display towards someone or a group of people or your attitude towards work. For someone else, it might be how to speak to people in a better manner. These things might look trivial, but God pays attention to them and in order to maintain a sensitive, tender heart towards God, we must pay attention to them as well, and obey the workings of the Holy spirit in us. These little promptings, are the works of the Holy spirit.

Why do we need to obey? obeying and allowing the workings of the Holy spirit shows our level of thirst for God. A thirsty heart is always ready to be filled at all times and we can not be filled
if we don't create empty spaces in our heart.

The bible says, ''As we behold as in a glass the image of the son, we are into the same image from one degree of glory to another even as by the Spirit of God'' (2 Cor3:18). Our transformation is a changing, a filling up, a putting off of self and taking in of a new personality, the personality of Christ. Only a thirsty hearts can behold long enough for a change, a filling up.

In the words of Kenneth E Haggin, unless you keep a tender conscience, Spiritual things will be indistinct to you. Keeping a tender conscience means paying attention to the voice of the Holy Spirit and taking corrections IMMEDIATELY.

Maintaining a tender heart is an attitude of staying FAMISHED and THIRSTY which in turn aids our sensitivity. A heart that  is ready to be filled at all times is very important to our growth as God's children especially, if we desire to be more and more like Him.

CENTRAL TRUTH: Paying attention to the continuous work of the Holy spirit in us as an attitude of being thirsty .

PRAYER:

Father help me to receive and allow your work in me even as you change me to become more like you.

THINK ON THIS: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.Phil.4vs13

AN HUNGRY HEART, STAYING HUNGRY... (DESIRING THE WORD)

As new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby.1Peter2vs2

I have a younger brother and he never gets tired of eating. He eats anything and at anytime, he is just never satisfied. Probably some of us are like my brother. But is it a good habit to always be hungry? Well ,yes if that hunger is toward spiritual things.

Apostle Paul in 1Peter 2vs2 admonishes us to 'Desire the sincere milk of the Word that we may grow thereby. Desiring the sincere milk of the word implies a consistent, unwavering thirst for the Word. Who is the Word? Christ is!  and we are admonished to look up to God with a hungry and open heart to be filled with Him.

Apostle Paul admonishes us to desire the sincere milk, he says the sincere milk will make us grow.

Asking us to desire the sincere milk, doesn't mean that the Word in Himself is not sincere, but we must come not with mind already made up and conceived notions, but with hearts that are teachable and ready to be molded.

After Salvation, there is a response to the drawing of God that we must follow. As our walk with God must not end at a first encounter. Several and consistent encounters must follow, panting daily and consistently after God's word must be our story.

Most of us stop at our Salvation Experience forgetting that our Salvation is the first step in our walk with God. The Love of God has been shed abroad in our heart and the Holy spirit is at work in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

How do I know what His good pleasures are if I don't study His Word? Therefore, the working of the Holy Spirit draws us to God through His Word.

We must consistently embrace the engrafted word with meekness, rendering our hearts bare to the Holy spirit. Anything that does not agree with the Word of God, no matter what they are and how long we have indulged in them, must be accepted as a weakness and we must embrace instantly the teaching of Grace, as exposed by the Holy spirit .

The rate of your desire is expressed in the rate of your growth and love. The more you grow, the more you will grow thirsty for God, because God can never be exhausted.

Central point: After salvation, we must desire God more through the study of His word.

THINK ON THIS: Study to show thyself approved, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2Tim.2vs15)

Prayer:

Lord fill my heart with an unending love and desire for your word in Jesus Name.

STAYING HUNGRY(GROWING IN PRAYER)

And he shall seek me and find me, when he shall search with all your heart. JER .29VS13

Have you ever felt frustrated in the place of prayer? A time when it seems every attempt you make is an effort in Futility. You try to sing, No Way. You try to utter a word , No Way. It seems like the Heaven is literarily shut against you, in fact, you can see the Gates of Heaven shut through your roof.

Praying sometimes can seem frustrating to us, especially at those times when it seems like God is some thousand miles away. One of the major reasons we feel this way sometimes, is because we approach God with a Religious Attitude. We Pray like its a Burden, a Responsibility. Probably it's because we want to be able to give a Positive answer when asked,  'have you had your your Quiet Time?'

But really, how Quiet is our Quiet Time? Many of us have Quiet Time with our flesh loudly glorified. We just devote that time to either please men or ourselves.

Jesus speaking to the Samaritan woman by the well, said God is a spirit and He seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. Our TIME of Prayer IS MEANT to be a TIME WHEN WE COMMUNICATE WITH GOD and not COMMUNICATE TO GOD.
It is a time when we come to Him in the undstanding of who He is and behold Him in awe. Our flesh sacrificed and silenced we pour our all, we open our cistern, our heart hungry for Him , to see His face.

The Truth of God must be able to take the seat in your heart when you seek Him in Prayer. Without this truth, your prayer time, no matter how lengthy and loud you sound will only be a Religious Exercise.

CENTRAL POINT: Prayer is Communication with God and not Communicating to God.

PRAYER:

Father help me to stay in the Place of Prayer long enough to get a response from you.

THINK ON THIS:

Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. (Micah 7:7)

GOD WANTS ME

"Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: His going forth is prepared like the morning; and he shall come up to us like the rain, the latter and the former rain on to the earth."
-Hosea 6:3

God has sought man, with a Thirsty heart for Fellowship sake. God assembled a meeting among the Godhead and the outcome of that meeting, led to the Creation of man in God's own Image and Likeness. Even after the fall, God immediately sacrificed His only Son to restore man to Fellowship. This act of love demonstrated by God is a seeking act, an act borne out of a thirst for a people to commune with.

As man evolved, he has tried to live without God, he has tried to fill himself with knowledge, all in the attempt to escape God. That's why there an emptiness in you, if you have not come to the truth of His love.

The love God demonstrated, pushes us to Him and we must come famished, acknowledging how weak and worthless our lives have been without Him, we must yearn and come to His feet willing and ready to make the throne of our hearts empty to be occupied by Him alone.

We must come to HIM thirsty like the Deer, leaping and not just bowing our heads but hearts to the well of Life, until we are filled. Remember Jesus said 'Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.' - Matthew 11:28

CENTER POINT: God has always sought for man and He has put a desire in our heart for Him.

PRAYER:

Lord  even as you draw me to yourself, help me to develop a heart that responds to you at all times.

Jesus Was Here

I was speaking with a friend this week. He went for a conference where the Governor of Lagos State was suppose to be present as a key note speaker. However, the governor wasn't available and sent a representative.

My friend told me that each time anyone spoke to the convener of the programme about the Governor's absence, the convener would always insist that the governor was there.

No matter what it might seem like, the Governor sent a delegate. Hence, the Governor was there. That was the reality of that man.

Also, every form of honour, recognition and comments received by the delegate goes back to the Governor.

This is the same principle that you as a believer in Jesus must be conscious about.

You can help someone else experience the Grace of God. You can help someone close to you see Jesus.

In fact, the scripture makes us to understand that "as Christ is, so are we in this world." You can be a blessing to someone and they can say "Jesus Was Here."

They might mention your name, give thanks to God because they met you. But in the spiritual they are saying "Jesus Was Here."

Hence, all the glory goes back to God. You are just a representative. You must understand that the essence and core of every work of Grace you experience or help someone experience is to glorify God.

The scripture says "Not by works, lest any man should boast." Not by power, not by might but by my spirit saith the Lord of Host.

In the story of grace, God is the beginning and the end. He is the lead actor, director and producer. It's all about Jesus!

Prayer:
Father, always use me for your gracious works and take the glory in Jesus name. Amen.

Grace- The Teacher (2)

In the book of Titus 2:11-12, it is written that "the grace of God has appeared to all men teaching us to renounce ungodliness..."

In other words, God's grace has come to teach you to say NO. If He is teaching you, it therefore means at one point you could not say NO.

You couldn't say no to disappointment, sickness, failure, hurt, betrayal, denial, abuse, lack of money, pity, shame, trauma, stigma and whatever name the world called it. Everything that came your way, you accepted it as fate.

But now God's grace is daily teaching you to say NO to whatever the devil is suggesting to you. You are being trained to lay aside every weight that easily distract you and look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

Hence, grace is teaching you to be GOD DEPENDENT.

Really it all comes down to this. Paul in Acts 17:28 Said "for In him we live and move and have our being..."

This means the "real you" can only be expressed in God.  There is a  nature, GLORY, and LIGHT that needs to shine forth from your life as a child of God.. It's only GRACE that is capable of teaching you the best and right methods.

That's why paul could tell the elders of the church in Ephesus in Acts 20:32

"And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.- Acts 20:32

How can you be taught without a curriculum, syllabus, scheme of work and lesson note?

Well, the word of grace is all in one. It is able to teach you and build you up. It's able to make you into what God wants and give you everything you need.

Have you enrolled in the school of Grace?   Professor Grace, the Holy Spirit is waiting for you. Admission is FREE(including the form).

If you have enrolled, have you been skipping classes? Do you have notes? Have you been reading/studying? Because when the exam of life comes, the Holy Spirit will stay silent (like our teachers) and see how you would apply your faith from all you have been taught.

Become a good student of Grace today and build your Spiritual CGPA!

Prayer-
Father, help me become a diligent student of Grace and be attentive to your Spirit of Grace in Jesus name. Amen

Grace- Transcending Generations

It's an awesome thing that God proudly refers to Himself as "The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob". This He did a number of times in the Scriptures. The covenant that God established with Abraham, together with the  Blessings were extended to Isaac and then to Jacob and to you and I today through Christ.

Yesterday while we were having our Family Devotion and Prayers, we were again reminded from the Word on how deep and real the Blessings of God are as it concerns the righteous. "Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. HIS SEED shall be MIGHTY upon earth: the GENERATION of the UPRIGHT shall be BLESSED. " (Emphasis Mine)

In other words, Grace is Transferable and Transgenerational. As long as we stay with God the Grace that he bestows on us will surely flow down to those coming after us.

Haven't you noticed in the Scriptures how God sometimes overlooked some mistakes people made just because of the depth of relationship and Communion of their fathers?

Remember Solomon?

God postponed the splitting of the Kingdom of Israel just because of David his father.

If you're a Christian, a child of God, be sure of this one thing- you carry God's Grace and you can still carry a greater dimension.

We can be Rest Assured that tomorrow will be far better than today because the Grace God has given to you will shape the lives of generations already coming after us.

Prayer:

Lord, let your grace increase in my life. I prophecy that my generation is blessed and engraced to do Exploits in Jesus Name.

Let Your Eyes Be Single

"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light." - Matt 6:22

The eye is an important part of the body. It plays a role in your body navigation. You can move about conveniently. In other words, it grants you easy access in your environment.

The eye can only perform that function when it receives light into the pupil. Without light you can't move around easily.

Darkness restricts. Light gives freedom.

In this context, the eyes represents your inner consciousness. Your inner man. The real you. Your spirit. That is the Center of Leadership. That's where God relates with you.

If your spirit is not enlightened you can't see the things God has prepared for you. If your spirit is not enlightened, your access to God's Grace is limited. You will be ignorant and deny yourself your rights.

Paul had this understanding and that's why he prayed for the church in Ephesus:..

" I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!"-Ephesians 1:17-19

How much time do you invest to dig out your treasures from scriptures?

Action:
Study and confess the Ephesians 1 prayer (Pauline prayer).

Father, fill my spirit with your light of understanding that I may transit from ignorance to revelation in Jesus name. Amen.

Activate Your Receiving Mode!

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." - Mark 11:24

Many see prayer as a means to shoot God with request. On the contrary, Prayer is a receiving mode for believers.

Prayer is a place of receiving than asking. Why? Because God knows the end from the beginning. He is always far ahead of you. It is not at the point where you pray that God starts making arrangements for your deliverance.

It's not your request that puts God to work. Your request is the password for receiving.

Have you had those moments when you prayed for something and it came almost Immediately (e.g finances)? It had been arranged long ago. Your prayer brought you into harvest.

Though some receiving might take longer time but it comes at the place of prayer.

That's why Jesus said "ask and it shall be given..."

Prayer is the practice of drawing on the grace of God. Do you know why it's so important?

Because when you place premium value on prayer, it shows how much trust you have in God. It is an expression of Reverence and Submission.

Remember the Scripture says "God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble."

While many see prayer as a place of labour, I often see it as a place of harvest.

At the place of prayer, fueled by the revelation of the word of Grace, you harvest into your spiritual barn what Jesus made available at his resurrection.

If at the point of praying, your spirit doesn't resound harvest, tarry more.

The prayer that avails is the prayer that comes with conviction.

Whatever you ask, believe you have it and you shall receive it.

Prayer Point:

Father, I ask and receive strength and quickening in my spirit to be faithful with my prayer life in Jesus name. Amen

Be Confident You Have It

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24 (ESV)

The one reason you will always be confident you have what you ask is because you are confident in your heavenly father.

Many of us doubt God. We go to God with the mindset of "let me see how it works out."

If you want to experience more of God's grace (divine favour) in your life, you must be full of faith.

God is interested in every area of your life. No matter how insignificant it may be. If you have a cordial relationship with the Holy Spirit, you would understand this truth.

As simple as you striking your foot against a stone, forgetting your change with a bus conductor, or whatever you can think of, God is concerned.

Even the very things you don't count important in your life, God is concerned.

How much more those things you count as big; Job, relationship, marriage, career, ministry, children, etc.

The scripture says "cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

You need to develop your confidence (faith) in God. Spend time with the Word. Stuff your Spirit with spiritual food and renew your mind to always see the possibility in all situations.

I am pressed to address this area more because it is the key. God is ever ready to do more than you are willing to ask and he is ready to give more than you are willing to receive.

"Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock." Isaiah 26:4 (ESV)

Prayer Point:

Father, I am sorry for those times I lost confidence in your ability to save me. Help me to always fix my eyes on you and not exalt my challenges in Jesus name. Amen.

Lay Hold By Believing

Hebrews 3:18-19 (ESV)
"And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient? So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief."

When we considered rest consciousness and I said it comes with ease, your natural mind could have been on the offence.

The possibility of doubt could have set in. It sounds too good to be true. You might begin to say "It's not that easy. The economy is melting, and so on."

That's where the enemy (Satan) attacks. He makes you go rational and logical that you don't impress the Word you receive into your heart.

Don't you know, we belong to a different kingdom. We are in this world but not of this world.

The anchor text of today shows us that some of the children of Israel did not enter into the rest God promised them because of their unbelief.

Just like in the old covenant, you can be denied access into your promise and inheritance in the new covenant because of unbelief.

The truth is that any part of the scripture that doesn't work for you or doesn't materialize is that which you refuse to believe.

You heard the word, received the word but did not allow it find expression.

This is why some Christians can express God's grace in divine healing but still struggle with their finances and vice versa.

The issue is that we often think "believing" is a one time event. So we take in the Word then after sometime begin to let go because we think it is taking too long.

Your "believing" is a CONTINUOUS PROCESS. That's where the True Test of Faith comes. For the trying of your faith works out patience.

For you to draw into the Grace that will raise you to your desired future, you need to be a Rugged and Resilient Believer in the Word of God (Word of Grace)

Action Point:

WRITE DOWN 5 scriptures that address your need(s) and spend 10 minutes daily seriously impressing them into your heart by meditation.

Prayer Point:

Father, I believe your word of grace. I lay hold on your promises concerning my present and future. None will elude me in Jesus name.

STAY STRENGTHENED BY GRACE

Heb 13:9

"...for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace..."

The troubles of life always begin in your heart. You are thinking of so many things at the same time.

You have so many pictures that are playing as a slide show in split seconds and you are concerned on how to deal with them all.

In all these things, it is good for your heart to be strengthened by grace.

Scriptures says "Guard your heart with all diligence for our of it flows the issues of life."

The journey of life to fulfill God's mandate is not a smooth ride. It comes with a lot of obstacles that can reduce your momentum.

The trials of life will always rear its ugly head to put you down. As a kingdom soldier, you will need to "stay strengthened by grace."

By your own strength (with limitations), you can't prevail. But with the strength of God (grace without limits) you will always prevail. Grace energy is completely able to keep you on the winning side.

Paul told Timothy in the book of 2 Tim 2:1:
"You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus,"

Imagine what will happen to a petrol powered vehicle being filled with water.

No matter how beautiful the car features are, as long as it's not filled up with the right fuel, all functions can't be seen in operation.

The fuel meter will definitely show that the car's fuel tank is full but apparently with the wrong substance. .

This is a challenge for many believers. We appear to be full of "self strength" but forget that it has it's limits.

There are times that will prove difficult in your life pursuit. Wilderness seasons will arise but those strengthened by grace are assured of total victory.

Let's consider the Amplified version of 2 Cor 12:9.

"But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed)and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness."

God is the only one who truly understands your needs and He should always be your number one stop for to draw strength (grace) tailored to your needs.

Heb 4:16
"Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

The highlight of today is for you to "stay strengthened" by grace. You have to stay plugged in and consistently live in that consciousness.

Consciousness of what?

That every believer in Christ Jesus is solely powered by grace. Grace brought you to this family of God and grace is the only "fuel" that can sustain you.

Action Point
Today, identify that area where you truly know you have reached your end and consciously and deliberately invite God into the situation. Write them out in a paper and daily say "I have prevailed by grace."

Prayer Point
Lord, I have no power of my own. I acknowledge that I can't pull (Insert those specifics here) on my own. Strengthen me by your grace to victory in Jesus name.

Confession
I am a kingdom soldier of God.
I have been bought with a price.
With the precious and victorious blood of Jesus Christ.
Hence, I am powered by grace. I am never limited by earthly circumstances.

Grow in Grace

2 Pet 3:18 (ESV)
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..."

It's your responsibility to grow in God's Grace.

It might seem contradictory to the previous days when I emphasised that the working of grace requires no effort from you.

Nothing has changed. You must understand that our Lord Jesus made all that we need available.

The scripture in 2 Cor 9:8 says

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work."

You didn't read "Some, Small or Few but ALL" The only thing is that you must know how to receive them.

That's where the challenge lies. You know that there is GRACE in abundance but access may be limited. Growing in Grace would mean growing in your receiving capacity.

There are two things I want to share with you as touching receiving.

The first one can be found in James 4:6.

"But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

The need for total submission can't be ignored.

Honestly, from experience, I have discovered that your plans, analysis, projections and so on can get in the way of God.

You can get carried away with your expertise/experience/qualifications and end up ignoring the place of the Holy Spirit's divine instruction.

It's not that all these above named things are bad. On the contrary, they are very useful and you should be committed to personal development.

The key here is to submit all to the Father of Glory. I call it strategic positioning for divine upliftment.

Go under God's hand and let him pick and place you on the higher grounds.

The second one can be found in the book of 1 pet 1:13.

"Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ."

The Grace of God is delivered to you by Revelation. Specifically, the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Grace came to us by the Word of God. The word became flesh and dwelt among us.

If you don't grow in the Revelation of the Scriptures, your walk of faith will be full of swallowing ditches.

The word of God is richly embedded with the answers to all your needs. The way to possess them is by Revelation.

Revelation comes by studying under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

This again will take us back to humility. Only a man that is  humble in spirit can access spiritual mysteries.

They are intertwined.

Humility makes more Grace abound to you. Also, a true Revelation of Grace will humble you.

When you understand the helpless and dead state of the human race before the Lord Jesus payed the ultimate sacrifice in the cross of Calvary, you will truly be humbled.

Well, the highlight of tonight is that for you to grow in your receiving capacity if God's grace, stay humble and seek more revelation of the Lord Jesus.

Prayer Point

Lord, I humble myself under your mighty hands today. Lead me to my higher ground in Jesus name.

Lord, Open my eyes to the revelation of the Grace of our Lord Jesus. Amen.

God's Infinite Energy

Energy is the capacity to do work. It is the impetus behind all motion and all activity.

As a believer in the resurrection power of Christ and the redemption from sin brought by that power, your energy (capacity to do work) fountain is God's Grace.

Paul recognised this foundational truth and emphasised it so many times.

To the church in Colossae: Col 1:29 (ESV)

"For this I toil, struggling with all His energy that he powerfully works within me."

And to the church in Corinth: 1 Cor 15:10 (ESV)

"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me."

Grace is a spiritual energy that transcends the natural. It is Christ energy at work in you. Paul said "it was not I but the grace of God that is with me."

It appears to me that Paul's description shows us that when God's grace is in operation in your life, it is independent of your efforts.

Since your effort is not required in the operation of grace, your role is just to receive it.

This is the major Foundational Block God's wants to lay in your heart.

This energy has no limits and it's fully capable of taking you to God's desired end for you.

So if we are saying "Tapping into the Grace for Tomorrow", you should be having a better picture of the kind of power we are dealing with.

This energy never fails. There is no shortage. There is no inconsistency. It is the same God of Yesterday, Today and Forever. There is no variable of change in Him. The potency of the power of Grace is beyond words.

Let's see what Eph 1:19 says

"...and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might." (ESV)

Eph 1:19-20 (MSG)

"...grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!

All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven..."

The strength of God in you knows no bounds. Rest in Christ's Energy TODAY.

Some people depend on biceps while others on hard drugs to achieve results.

The biceps and hard drugs of a believer is GRACE. It was what Jesus was referring to when he said "It is Finished." The price for you to operate from the supernatural has been paid in full. God gave you all that pertains to life and godliness in Christ Jesus. Receive it now.

Prayer of Confession
Lord, thank you for making full provision for all that I need to live an excellent life. I receive my portion in fullness. I daily operate with Christ's energy and I am assured of Christ's Success in Jesus name.

RECEIVING GRACE BEGINS WITH HONOR

One mystery God has helped me to increasingly understand is the Law of Honor. It's one of the Mysteries of the Kingdom.

Scripture says "And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better." - Hebrews 7:7

It says without ALL CONTRADICTION, the Less is Blessed of the Greater. Can I say that for whatever level we reach in life, there is always a greater one and there are always people greater than you. Here the Scripture says "The Less is Blessed of the Better".

Abraham was Blessed by Melchizedek when he gave tithes of all he had. He recognized the higher authority that Melchizedek wielded and honored him. This led to him being blessed and this same Blessing even had an effect on his unborn children. Joshua honored the office of Moses. Even when Aaron and Mariam spoke against Moses, Joshua said not a Word. He stuck with Moses and he ended up receiving the mantle and Anointing that Moses wielded.

There are men and women around you that are engraced. They may be your Spiritual Leaders, Bosses at work, even colleagues and friends. I once heard that we may be Age Mates but we are not Grace Mates. No one is your mate when the issue of Grace comes in. When you recognize Grace in anyone's life that you desire, crave for it, and honor the vessels that carry them. One quote I wrote goes thus: "Once you meet someone who does what you cannot, DON'T Envy Them.....Admire, Honor and Learn from them"

You can NEVER attract a Grace that you resent or criticize. When you criticize someone, the Grace that that person carries cannot flow into your life. It is normal to have reservations about people, but you have the right to not voice out those opinions. Once someone is producing better results than you're doing, it shows that fellow has something that you do not have and so you must choose to honor those vessels so as to receive the Grace they possess.

Perhaps you need Excellence in your academic Pursuit, a Life Partner, Business Ideas, Anointing for Exploits, etc find someone/people who already have that same result, stay close to the person, sow into the life of the person and Prayerfully as well, soon enough Grace will be transferred.

The Bottom Line today is to know that God has engraced a lot of people around you and you have the opportunity to tap into what these people carry through honor and service.

Prayer:

Lord, have mercy upon me for every engraced person I've despised...as I begin to engage this Law, let there be transference of Grace into my Life in Jesus Name.

WHERE DO WE LOOK?

"A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1-2

The help needed in birthing that Awesome Future that we all hope for  isn't going to come from a Democracy, a Monarchy or a Despot. It won't even come from any Religion. it will have to come from ABOVE.

Amidst the darkness, the gross darkness and evil that walks through our land Nigeria and other nations of the earth, we must keep our gaze up on high looking for our help from heaven where Christ is King.
At this time as we draw the curtains for the focus on APRIL (A Secured Future) we must realize that it's up to us. As we partner with God we would surely possess the earth for his Kingdom.

Shall We Pray the Lord's Prayer with a Renewed Understanding...

9.   ...Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

 10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

 11  Give us this day our daily bread.

 12  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

 13  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
 -Matthew 6:9-13

No More Headaches

A long time friend came around over the weekend and he got talking and spoke at length about the different issues affecting Nigeria. He has such an overwhelming perspective of the problems that everything actually looked gloomy and it seemed there was no hope again for Nigeria and indeed the rest of the world.

It got to a point that I just felt like leaving the conversation and go do something else. But for friendship sake and all... I endured... While he spoke I suddenly realized that I began to have a headache. Even mum who was around said the same as well. I scarcely have headaches and when I do I can always trace the source. On this day it was obvious that the different problems he outlined and talked about for well over an hour caused it all. Yes it Did.

When he left I literally had to pray the headache away. It didn't leave easily, I had a leading to do something Strange to cast out the spirits behind the words I had heard. Behind every news we hear there is a spirit behind it. In this case it was depression, hopelessness, doubts about the  future, unbelief. I literally had to mention those names, only then did the headache leave.

I then prayed a prayer for him. I asked that just as he has a passion for talking about challenges and problems, God should grant him a genuine burden for the solutions to those problems. Left to him he'd like to just live a simple life with his family avoiding trouble.

That's not God's intention for our lives. We are Much More. Irrespective of the happenings God wants "to GIVE US A FUTURE and A HOPE" - Jeremiah 29:11

So....

No More Headaches! It's Time to Be the Solution to all the Problems known to us.

It's time Rise from your knees to implement what God has shown in the watches of the night. It's time to fight the good fight of faith. Stop spreading headaches.... Start Implementing Divine Solutions.

Prayer:

Lord, plant in my heart a burden for solving problems. I refuse to spread
messages of doom, but of Peace and Hope in Jesus Name.

Are You Current??

The Word Current as a word could mean the waves of the sea, it could also be use in a sense to describe electricity....But.... I'd like to bring it from the perspective of being on-course and updated about the ongoings around you.

Today there are Newspapers, Blogs, TV and Radio Stations that publish News at intervals to keep the populace updated about events and happenings locally and internationally as well.... The challenge remains that....anyone who FOCUSES  Extremely on being current/updated with news in the world as reported by the different media sources will be automatically signing up to a Compulsory Course Called Depression. The deaths, murders, Scarcity, Poverty and evil that prevails in the world has reached high levels.

Yes being current has its benefits of bringing an awareness of opportunities that can be Tapped into but it isn't enough.

Even if you and I could know the news that would be broadcasted 50years, it would still be obsolete compared to one Revelation from God about you. The Word is more current than what the media will report decades from now.

Believe It.

The Only Hope the world has isn't in Religion, it isn't in Governments (at least not an earthly one), our only hope is in the Government from Heaven. This Scripture makes it clear that Government is the answer in Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and THE GOVERNMENT shall be upon His Shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace"

God intentionally arranged that when you were saved you didn't just arrive in heaven. He needed you here. It's time to snap out of waiting for the Kingdom Of God to come when it's already Here and Now. In fact, Jesus said "The Kingdom of God is within you"- Luke 17:21

Stay Current, Not with Tabloids and Blogs, but with Information from the Spirit.

God Help Us!

Prayer:

Lord, help me stay updated with what the Spirit is saying Day by Day. Help me to be more focused on what God says than News Reports in Jesus Name.

Get Grace

Man may be inadequate in forecasting the events to come and we are also incapable of fully knowing the events to come in our lives personally, but we can be sure that in God's will there is Rest, Peace and Prosperity for us.

However God will have us take a cue from Noah tonight. It was recorded that "Noah found Grace in the eyes of the Lord". Amidst the crookedness and perverseness of his time, one man found Grace with God which led to the Salvation of his entire family and the preservation of the entire human race.

The Grace of God that he found secured his future.

Paul wrote "The Grace of God that bringeth Salvation hath appeared unto all men". Yes it has!  God's grace which is a sure security for your Future has appeared. Search and Locate the Grace needed to Live Your Purpose, to accomplish your destiny. Tap enough Grace that will impact your generation positively.

We can guarantee a future of bliss and plenty when God's Grace is available to steer us through the times that we live in.

GET GRACE!

Prayer:

Lord. I ask for the Grace that would help me in affecting my generation positively in Jesus Name.

FIRMLY ROOTED

Our Provincial Youth Convention started today... It's Tagged INSPIRED. Specifically the Theme for tonight was INSPIRED TO PRAISE.

While we were praising God, the Praise Leader raised a Song.. "Jesus you're My Firm Foundation, In you I can stand secured....". As the song resounded through the congregation, my Heart was lifted as I saw the revelation in that song.

Jesus is indeed our firm foundation. Our Future is Secured when we STAND, Deeply Rooted in that  Rock. Jesus told a parable about those who built on the sand and the rock, when the wind (A representation of the storms of Life) the house fell completely... But the one founded on the rock stood.

I again saw a picture in my heart, it was as though my entire being was enclosed in the confines of the Bible. Where else can be more secure than in the Word? Joyce Meyer said 'The Safest Place to be is in the Perfect Will OF God. God's word is Perfect.'

Get a Sure Word for your Life. One of my mentors calls this sure word A LIFE VERSE. Get a LIFE VERSE that you can always fall back on when troubles, trials and temptations come your way. For me I have Jeremiah 29:11, Luke 21:15, Romans 8:18.

Dealing with Anxiety 3

We take off from yesterday.... The third step is Thanksgiving. We explored Prayer and Supplication previously...

Whenever you choose to give thanks your 'nothing' suddenly becomes 'something'. I can imagine that the disciples considered the 5 Loaves and 2 Fishes as nothing compared to what they really needed. See what they said "There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but WHAT ARE  THEY AMONG SO MANY? " - John 6:9

We must learn to give thanks in every situation. The Word also says "Giving thanks ALWAYS  FOR ALL THINGS unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ" - Ephesians 5:20

Jesus knew better, he wasn't anxious, his first response was to tell the people to sit down, he actually calmed things down and he then GAVE THANKS. He gave thanks for what we would call 'nothing' among so many people. One reason why we not be experiencing the good things of God may be because we have called 'something' as 'nothing'.

You would remain anxious as long as you do not recognize and thank God for that which you do have. Remember we talked about Taking One day at a time, if you do that, you'd realize that God has daily loaded you with benefits, his mercy preserves you daily and endures, his banner of love is over you daily and many more specific things that God does for you. Learning to take a moment each day to thank God will delete anxiety from your life forever. If you can recognize that that which you have is Something, if you can recognize that you already have something then you're already on your way to the Peace that Passes Human Understanding. (Phillipians 4:6)

I charge you Tonight, Let your Thanksgiving be more than your complains.

Dealing with Anxiety 2

Yesterday we learnt about the place of Prayer in dealing with anxiety, today we proceed to Supplication. I'd not really gotten clear what it meant until light came in that  direction yesterday....

The story of Daniel clearly exemplifies this...

The other leaders in the Babylonian empire had chosen to conspire against Daniel to see his end. Do you know what they did? They appeared before the King saying:

"All the presidents of the Kingdom, the Governors, and the Princes, the Counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not." - Daniel 6:2-3

These Top Officials of the Babylon agreed together, and came with one mind and for one motive- to sign a petition that would indite Daniel.

What those officials did was SUPPLICATION. They came to the king under an irresistible pressure to have their needs met. If there was a disagreement within the caucus there is a high tendency that the law would have not been signed. But they were all in agreement....

In Dealing with issues that awakes anxiety within you (Remember Anxiety is only a Wrong Response to a Particular thing you're anticipating/hoping for) you may need to come into agreement with a Fellow Believer,  a Brother /Sister in Christ. It's time to petition the King of Kings. That issue cannot keep lingering for long. Why should you be anxious about a situation when God has all it takes to answer it?

Engage the Scripture that says "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." - Matthew 18:19. This is a Kingdom Principle to be engaged.

Why not find a fellow to agree with on that issue? Put God to test. Remember, the focus for the Month is A Secure Future. Your faith about the reality of your secured future will be undermined by your Anxiety.

Let's work it out. Let's agree with ourselves first,  and then with another Kingdom Citizen like you.. See what happens...

Dealing With Anxiety

The topic for today had been dropped in my heart by God since yesterday. I kept brooding on it... The Word just dropped tonight...

Here are the things God revealed.

Anxiety is a response, a response to something that is being anticipated. Anticipation in itself is a positive thing, it is a proof that you desire something, that you are pressing forward to achieving a particular end. In plain terms, to Anticipate means to Hope.

Anxiety is a wrong response or Reaction to an expectation, an end, a hope that you longed for. Perhaps you've-- choosen a life partner, a particular course in school amongst several others, started the business you've always dreamed and planned towards,... suddenly thoughts begin to arise, you're beginning to have a form of doubt as to the outcome of the choices you've taken or about to take on those issues.... When this happens, it's ANXIETY at work. It's often mixed with worry, doubt, fear, unbelief and plain uncertainty.

What's the correct response?

Philippians 4:6 "Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by Prayer and Supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

Anxiety can't just be stopped, seeing that it is a wrong response to anticipation (Hope) it means there is a RIGHT RESPONSE to situations. It is a Three-Fold Response.

Thanksgiving

Prayer in its simplest form is like Oxygen to the life of a Believer. It's the basic and should be the Lowest Common Identified Trait with Believers. That's why Scriptures say "Pray without CEASING". The first response whenever you begin to feel anxious about anything is PRAY. Prayer here can be likened to calling the Customer Care of your Network Provider. You're rest assured that as long as the call is being answered whatever the request you table would be addressed appropriately.

So what are you anxious about? What steps have you recently taken or about to take? Are you worried?

Change your reaction tonight. Turn it to God. Once God is 'In The Know' you can be sure that it's Settled.

(Even if Daily Dealings doesn't come when you expect... Don't be anxious)

No Fear

The Best way to Face the Future is Living one day at a time. Jesus said in the Lord's Prayer "Give us THIS DAY our Daily Bread". God has provision for us for each day. There's no reason to be anxious about what the days ahead will bring when we can be sure that God will be there to Supply all our needs, to give us the needed directions and support for living this life to the fullest.

We might not be able to correctly determine the trends that will occur in the future but we can be sure that God will still be God and we would always be assured of reaching that expected end with Him. That's why the Word says "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7

Fear Friends, Do not be Afraid of the Future. Face one Day at a Time. God will walk you through even in the valleys of the shadow of death.

Our Future is secured in God. Live Each Day to the Fullest. God has the times of Life in His hands.

Action Point:

Make a Choice to focus on maximizing all that God makes available each day. Someone rightly said 'Worrying doesn't only empty tomorrow of its promises it empties you of your strength today.'

Prayer:

Lord, help me to make the most of all you provide for me Daily. I receive Daily the Loads of Benefits you send my way in Jesus Name.

You don get Alert?

I caught a picture in meditation one time that as believers our account in Heaven is credited whenever we win a soul into the Kingdom. Yes, the angels rejoice, but at that same moment an alert that is inestimable in human monetary terms is credited to our name in Heaven.

Imagine Jesus plainly made us see that the whole world's worth is nothing compared to the price of ONE SOUL. If that's the case then imagine the Abundance of Wealth that comes into your Heavenly Account when you win just one soul? That's why Solomon must have written that "He that wins a Soul is WISE".

One of my major goals and heart desires for this year was to win souls amidst other Business and Personal goals. I'm glad that I got one of those Alerts today. God arranged the scene perfectly. While the flood gates were opened and the rains poured down in torrents, a young man I met while hiding from rain was beautifully reconciled to God and brought into the Kingdom.

I now understand more that those who win souls for God operate on a different frequency.

I want to get more alerts in my account.

We can be sure that the Future would be Much better and one not to be feared when we win large numbers of people to the Lord. Then we would be Rest Assured that those who would be around would be those whom God can influence to cause major changes in every system that exists in the world.

We can Secure the Future by Securing the Souls Of Men. Especially the Youths and Teens.

Prayer:

Lord use me to to secure the Future via wining souls in Jesus Name.
