YOU'RE NOT AN EX-CONVICT.

In the world system today, whenever a man has been convicted and served his sentence in jail, he still, despite being free, has restrictions and limitations. He wouldn't be able to contest for political office, he'd always be known as an ex-convict. Howbeit in the Spirit it is a different story. When we come to Christ ALL records are not only cancelled, the records of all your sins and wrong doings ceases to exist. You become someone who has never sinned. All Divine rights and Privileges are transferred to you through Christ.

How come? It is because it is written "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him". Jesus became everything that you once were so that you could become all that He is-RIGHTEOUS. You are Justified by Faith in the Finished work of Christ.

Understand today that there's no and will never be any record of sin against you. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus. God has Covenanted through the blood of His Beloved Son not to remember your sins and iniquities any more-Hebrews 8. You can access the throne of God boldly via the blood of Jesus and enjoy all the benefits a relationship with the Father provides.

Are you struggling with condemnation, guilt, or worries of the failures of the past or even besetting sins? You need not be. All the wrath that God could ever have has been contained by Jesus through his death. That hymn says "Till on the cross as Jesus Died, the wrath of God was satisfied, for every sin on Him was laid. Here in the death of Christ I live". God is not angry with you and will never be, all His anger has been absorbed in the body of Jesus.

It is too good to be true. If it is not then it isn't the Gospel. YOU ARE FREE. LIVE IN IT.

Central Truth: You are set free by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and so you are justified and given a new status that has no trace of your sins and wrong doings. You're not an ex-convict!

PRAYER:
LORD, give me a deeper understanding of this eternal reality. I Praise you because I'm set at Liberty to live the life of Righteousness as aided by your Spirit in Jesus Name.

THE GLORY

The sun is at the centre of the universe and all the planets revolve around it. The moon directly receives it's light from the sun. The scriptures describes man as the image and glory of God and the woman as the glory of the man. So, it is the extent of the glory the man carries that the woman can reflect. So every wife you see today is a reflection of the husband.

Now, you're most likely not married just like me. However, you must begin to prepare yourself for that phase of life. As a Man you're a glorious being and as such  your life must show it. As a man do you have a relationship with God,  have you grasped your purpose, what is your life about?  What glory can be seen in you? A woman is a Blessed creation of God, she is a multiplier, she produces much more than she's given. If you live a reputable life she would magnify that for the world to see. Remember the virtuous woman? It says "her husband is KNOWN in the gates"

As a wife to be, understand that you must fit into the life of your spouse and as such you must seek for the expression of your assignment in life in the context of his own. Stand in your place fully in destiny. You are precious to God. You can't afford to marry a man who doesn't carry the glory of God. Watch and Pray!

Central Truth: Who you are will reflect through your spouse  much more than through you.

PRAYER:
LORD, help me as a man to begin to live a glorious life.
Help me Lord to understand my purpose as a woman and wife to be in Jesus Name.

THINK

There's a book by Napoleon Hill titled Think and Grow Rich. I was in a business centre once and a man saw me with the book. He said he had been thinking but he wasn't yet rich. Later on I began to realise that what most people do is worry and ruminate about the things that aren't right. They're not necessarily thinking. Any thoughtful process always brings positive result.

Proverbs says "for as he thinks in his heart, so is he" . You are equal to the thoughts that you think. The charge today is to engage the mind of Christ which we have access to its operations, through the Word of God. You can't fill yourself with the Word and not be transformed. Let your thoughts flow with the abundance of God's word and not the abundance of news that flies around.

You're rich in glory, crowned with honor and you're destined an eternal excellency. It is as you plant the Word deliberately in your heart that you experience a change. While ministering in my School Fellowship some weeks ago, I made mention of the fact that every believer must have a confident expectation of Good. One thing that God's word does to your mindset is that it makes you know that whatever happens to you must result in a positive testimony.

So think the thoughts of God.

CONFESSION:
My Thoughts are refined by the Word.
I'm not carried away by what I hear and see.
I discipline my mind to think pure, just, true and virtuous thoughts.
My Life is continually transformed as I absorb God's word daily.

TRUST IN GOD

I've come to understand that we don't need a bigger God to solve a bigger problem. Rather all we need is to remember the faithfulness of God in past victories and trust him to wrought a new one for us.

When we trust in God, everything looks little. Many times we talk about our problems instead of talking to them. God has said "I will give you a mouth and a wisdom which no adversary can gainsay or resist". When you begin to place your trust in God more you would have more boldness to speak to the challenges of life rather than letting them overwhelm you.

Do you trust God? I love the story of the Children of Israel. Do you know many years after they passed through the red sea, the generations that came after still refer to that miracle? It was in their prayers, traditions, it had become something they could always remember when there was something coming against them.

One way to learn to trust God no matter what happens is to always remember what He has previously done. In the psalms it is written "They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever".

Central Truth: Trust God. He will bring everything in your life to fulfilment.

FOCUS SCRIPTURE: Psalm 125:1

PRAYER:
LORD, help me to never take my eyes off you. Let me always remember your goodness towards me in Jesus Name. Amen

DO YOU LIKE WORK?

Its amazing that many people live for the weekend. Others are working for retirement benefits without any love for their jobs. Les Brown once made  a statement that many of the heart attacks that happen to people occurs on their way to work. Seeing they don't like love what they do, their hearts attacks them.

When you look through the Internet as weekend approaches there is a sense of happiness that overflows. On Fridays you see hashtags like TGIF. Surprisingly, you never come across TGIM, that's Thank God Its Monday. Why aren't we grateful for Mondays? Monday signifies showing up for work and attending to your responsibilities. The attitude of loving rest more than work deprives you of releasing your  potential. In the beginning it was not so, in Genesis it is written "And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it" . Work was given to man in the beginning it was man's duty to work the garden.

Someone said Laziness is simply the habit of resting before one get tired. When God gave the Law he said "Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work". In other words, man was supposed to work more than he rests. You can do the maths, if you slept and rested from work 10 hours a day how many years would you have wanted  over a life time? Life is too short to spend it resting everytime. Work is the path way to releasing potential and making a difference in your world. God worked, Jesus worked, you must take after your maker. This and many more are some of the insights I shared in my book titled TAKE UP YOUR BED.

No more folding of hand to sleep and procrastinating. Embrace a Work life style today. This has nothing to do with having a Job or not. When I returned from Service  and even before then, I often had a weekly to-do list and I still had one for last week. Truth is, any one who walks in purpose cannot be stranded.

Central Truth: Work is the channel to releasing your potential.

FOCUS SCRIPTURE: Genesis 2:15, Deut 5:13

Prayer:
LORD, I receive grace to be diligent in business and not to embrace a life of laziness in Jesus Name. AMEN

LIMITLESS

On this side of eternity, there always seem to be some limit to everything that happens to us. There is a barrier that one cannot exceed. In cars there is a maximum the car can accelerate to, in aeroplanes there is a height it can ascend to. You can think of others. However, there is another dimension where things are unlimited. Where everything seems possible. While returning from work during the week, God began unfolding to me about the mind. When you let the situations around you determine your Reality then you would experience Limits. But when you let your mind be the place where you conceive ideas and dreams then you are bound to create what is on the inside.

Scripture says "We have the mind of Christ". The Holy Spirit functions with  that mind. When you renew your mind God can have a place to unveil things to you.

Speaking with my Dad recently we talked about the growth of RCCG as a Church. When the Leadership was handed over to Pastor Adeboye, there were only 41 parishes. Today, the church is In 188 countries of the world with thousands of parishes and growing rapidly. The impact of the church is Global today through what God is doing through one man. What makes it more amazing is that all this is happening in the life time of one man. That's a picture of what it means to be limitless. Perhaps you're thinking of just growing up having a good family and dying. That's not it, you are created for Global relevance and Eternal Relevance.

Your life is meant to make a difference in this world. Today's word is to remind you that you're LIMITLESS. God made us to have dominion. In what ways are you limiting yourself? How can you begin to engage a LIMITLESS mindset today?
Don't limit God. Your thoughts limit the extent to which God can manifest his power in your life.

Central Truth: You are LIMITLESS.

PRAYER:
LORD, I refuse to limit you in my thinking. I begin to operate through the mind of Christ today and always in Jesus Name. Amen.

IT BEGINS ON THE INSIDE

There are certain principles that guide all of human processes
and events.There is such a thing as the inside-out approach to Life which connotes that every created thing is first and foremost
embedded on the inside before it materializes on the outside.
In other words, it can be said the reality of your life today is the
product of what was embedded on your inside days, months
and years ago. We can say that the reality of your Life in days to come will be a product of what is on your inside today.That's the reason why God wants to be so involved in your inner life. Paul the Apostle makes us understand that "It is God that works in you both to will and do of His Good pleasure"

God in the beginning spoke Light into the darkness, and its
evident that its only out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. Even likewise God spoke from his inner life.His inner Life was that of Light and so He spoke it out.

If there's any place you should allow God to work more in
your life, it should be on your inside.Pay attention to your inner
life.

Where we are today as a youth organization are things i had seen long before now. Where we are going in a couple of months and years have already begun to unfold. Don't toy with your inner life. It is the real deal.

Your Inner Life determines your Reality.

ACTION POINT: Examine your inner state,what are the dominant
thoughts there?

I am constantly renewed with fresh grace and revelation.
