DESTINY CHANGERS Vs DESTINY HELPERS

If you were on a journey to Ibadan and suddenly someone convinced you to take a bus going to Abuja claiming that it is shorter and cheaper, what would you do? You'd probably think the person is a joker. But you would believe if you never knew the way to Ibadan and you've never bothered to ask anyone until then. He would have succeeded in changing your route.

In the same vein, Destiny cannot necessarily be destroyed, it can only be changed. Just as energy cannot be destroyed but converted from one form to another so can destiny be changed.

I believe God has given us our destinies long before we were born. The scripture confirms this when God told Jeremiah "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations". Also Romans 8:29 says "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren"

God's calling for us is irreversible. However, we can alter the paths of our destiny ourselves.

Looking at the scriptures and lives of people that have lived and gone. We can observe a trend in their lives. Some at crucial points in life met people that supported them and in the end they were able to fulfil the purpose for which they were created. While others sadly, had their destinies altered negatively and ended up far from where God had intended. The question is: Are you being surrounded by destiny helpers or destiny changers?

Moses found Aaron who helped him tremendously in his pursuit of destiny. Paul met Barnabas at a crucial point in his life and this affected his life and ministry positively,in that he helped him in coming into the fold of people he once persecuted. On the other hand Samson met a Delilah who changed his destiny. He was destined to be a deliverer of Israel but his Romance with the harlot led him to fight personal battles rather than national ones. She limited the expression of God's purpose for his life. You know the result. He died with his enemies.

So you must know your destiny and be about it. Don't let your friends change the course of God's purpose for your life.

More importantly be a Destiny Helper to someone else not a Destiny Changer.

Central Truth: Destiny can not be destroyed but changed. Ensure that you do not deviate from God's original plan for you. Check now if you haven't veered off course.
